+ Please do not claim your prompt here. Your team mod will get in touch with you to advise how claiming will work for your team, and any and all questions should be directed back to them.

+ Prompts are arranged alphabetically, but the rounds are not necessarily in this order.

+ You may interpret the song, the concept, the music video, the lyrics in any way you choose, keeping in mind that a section of the scoring relates to the prompt.

+ Supplementary prompts can be used as your primary prompt.

+ Links have been provided for the songs themselves and (subbed, where possible) videos. Some of these links lead to communities that require membership. You are not obligated to use these links.

OLYMFICS 2013: Team assignments have been sent out

Hello, participants! We've just sent out the team assignments. Please check your email and let us know if you signed up but didn't get an assignment.

As such, we'd like to remind everyone of the following points:

1. INFORMATION REGARDING OLYMFICS, WHETHER IT BE FIC IDEAS OR ANYTHING REMOTELY RELATED TO IT SUCH AS YOUR TEAM NAME cannot be discussed in public. Do not post snippets of the fic you are planning to write (ideas included) in any public forum and yes, this includes anon memes. If we see your fic posted anywhere else before the competition ends, we will be forced to have you disqualified from the competition.

2. We would also like to address that fandoms were assigned for a reason, and that reason is because you, as a writer, listed them under the fandoms you were willing to write for when you signed up. Lack of inspiration or lack of knowledge of the group assigned to you is not something we take into consideration because this could not possibly have been something we knew before assigning groups.

If you were not/are not confident in the group you yourself listed in the original sign ups, there is nothing we can do now.

3. Prompts will be released sometime next week. Your fics must be related directly to these prompts. Whether your fics are inspired by them or have some snippets of the prompts, they must have something to do with the prompts you picked.

4. Last of all, this is a team competition. You may be working on your fics independently, but at the end of the day the success of your team will rely on your being a team. If someone's having a bit of difficulty with something, help him/her out. The entire point of Olymfics is team spirit. You are writing for the team, not for yourself, so you better reach out to someone who you think will benefit from a bit of help.

Again, we stress, discuss anything and everything related to Olymfics in your communities, Tinychats, headquarters, secret hideouts, what have you.

Please keep these things in mind. Let's make this year's Olymfics a success — together.
